IMUA is a joint venture between the Association of University Administrators (AUA) and the Association of Heads of University Administration (AHUA).  Both of these associations meet annually in the United Kingdom. IMUA is a series of on-going meetings. Since 1981, IMUA meetings have been held in a variety of venues based at universities worldwide.  The meetings provide senior managers and administrators (vice chancellors, presidents, rectors, vice presidents, registrars, finance directors, planners, and others) with an opportunity to discuss the key issues of higher education in an international context.
